Tasks of IAHS
Basic mission of this research team is optimisation of husbandry systems, i.e. exact determination and proposal of such technological, rearing and breeding measures, which make it possible to improve economic effectiveness of rearing and quality of animal products in given production and marketing conditions, and to reduce negative impact of farm animals on environment. Special attention is given to husbandry systems in endangered breeds and to maintenance of genetic biodiversity.
