Slovak Journal of Animal Science (ISSN 1337-9984) is an international scientific journal that publishes original papers, review article, short communications, chronicles and report of participation in important international conferences on animal science, in English language. Topic of the journal are problems of animal production, mainly in the sphere of genetics, breeding, nutrition and feeding, physiological process of digestion, conservation and treatment of feeds, biotechnology, reproduction, ethology, technology and ecologization of breeding, biology and breeding technology in farm animals, quality of meat, milk, wool, economy of breeding and production of animals. There are published also articles from the sphere of biochemistry, genetics, embryology, applied mathematical statistics as well as economy of animal production. There can be published also articles from the sphere of veterinary medicine concerning the themes of the journal.
